Spring is all about light colors and materials that embodied our happy personality now that the weather has started to turn! For the longest time, pastels have always felt “childish” to me – they make me think of the time of when my mom used to dress me. After some time, I came around to the colors once I saw more on-trend adult silhouettes in pastels! Pastel suiting for spring is the trend of the season – the colors promote a sense of happiness and ease, so why not pair them with good tailoring!

PASTEL SUITNG FOR SPRING
Honestly, I can’t tell you the last time I bought or wore something yellow – I was never really attracted to the color, but it’s probably because I did’t really know what to do with it! I picked up this lavender blazer from H&M and my love for pastels just sort of steamed rolled. This Yellow Double Breasted Blazer and Yellow Dress Pants suit is the pastel suiting of my dreams and helped shattered all my negativity towards yellow – the backdrop certainly helped too. Combined the pastel suit is under $100, yet the fabric is really luxe! To keep things simple, I styled the suit with this White Basic Tee from COS – this is BY FAR my favorite white tee of all time! The material makes it look and feel expensive allowing it the versatility to be dressed up and down! To keep things in a neutral palette, I styled the look with this Crossbody Bag and of course, my go-to Cat Eye Sunglasses.
