Happy Thursday friends! How are we? Better now that the weekend is only two sleeps away?! I couldn’t be more ready for the weekend, how about you? The lead up to Thanksgiving is always so pleasant and calm – then the lead up to Christmas is like the apacolypse and we are all running around without our heads on. Anyone else feel that way? This year I’m trying to enjoy each day leading up to Christmas so that it doesn’t zoom by me like a freight train.

Not only am I still in shock that it’s December 3, but this balmy and mild temps have me, and my wardrobe all turned around. OTK boots are still more efficient than a pair of stockings and have allowed me to keep them in the corner of my closet for another day. Sure, people probably think I’m crazy for not wearing tights, but hey, I’m not the one sweating

Today is all about those fall essentials that are making the crossover to winter. This Banana Republic sleeveless turtleneck sweater is the perfect starting point. Throughout the fall I styled it with distressed denim and anything leather (exhibit A). So that I keep getting use out of it over the winter, I’ll style it over a sheer blouse for some fun play on textures! Here I paired the sleeveless turtleneck with this perfect olive faux leather skirt. It’s such an easy and fast combo that you can wear multiple times a week!

What a great combination of colors and textures! That skirt is beautiful! Rock you looks without tights for as long as possible because it will get cold soon, especially in brisk Chicago! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day!

That’s SUCH a smart way to wear leather. I always wonder how to wear leather the best…and I totally agree with the knit combo with it. Looks chic (not too harsh) and I love it!
