Fall Florals
Any day that starts with flowers is always a good day, so the only way to brighten this Monday was with this dress with fall florals and cut outs. When the seasons start to change in Chicago, I tend to steer away from bright colors and fall into this pattern of wearing darks and neutrals – when I don’t get vitamin D, neither does my wardrobe. Well, I’m breaking my Johnny Cash habits with some much needed fall florals.
I spotted this dress back in September when shopping for things to wear to an event in NYC for fashion week. It was one of those things you spot on ASOS that if you don’t buy it, you’ll regret when it’s not there one day later. Am I right or am I right? I’ve started to make some changes to my wardrobe, such as dressing like a big kid, and removing the loud colors and patterns and trading them in for some neutrals and muted patterns – well, until this dress came along.
With this dress, I had to made an exception, and room for it in my closet. I love the color palette and most importantly the fun, and sexy cutouts. Add a blazer to the look when wearing it to work, then take the blazer off when it’s time for cocktails – I love an outfit that says a lot without doing much! Because I cannot get enough of this fall trend, I’ve shared some of my favorites with you below
