[/ezcol_1half_end] Happy Friday friends! As the temperatures start to drop for good, I’m dusting off my outerwear and getting my fall and winter wardrobe in full swing! It’s time to layer up in knitwear cozies and add in texture like faux suede and faux leather. Fall is by FAR my favorite season – who can resist the trends of fall year of year! Today I’m sharing and styling an easy fall look that you can wear just about anywhere – these faux suede pants are the anchor of this look and my closet this season. And to jumpstart you fall shopping, I’m sharing some of my favorite fall finds and where to invest!

Faux Suede Pants
Fall is the time to experiment with textures and to get outside of your box of denim pants, because why not?!? Wearing faux suede and faux leather is a quick an easy way to dress up your look and add some fall dimension to your look. These faux suede pants, with an elastic band, are the perfect mixture of comfort and fashion. You can dress them up with heels, like I did here, or dress them down with an oversized knit and some sneakers. Fall is all about versatility, style and comfort! For this look, I doubled-up on my sweater game and styled two pieces of cashmere layered together – this cardigan and turtleneck.
Fall also brings us autumn tones and hues. From neutral hues to saturated jewel tones, fall brings us rich deep colors that are too hard to resist. They are easy and safe colors to wear, and can be paired with any color if you are looking for that pop of color! If you are craving fall classic, this is the route to go!

Fall Outerwear
Outerwear during the colder months is truly the one way to express your personal style once you’re all bundled up. As a Chicagoan, outerwear was the one thing I would and could justifying purchasing year after year, I was after all going to be wearing it for a 8 months straight. This year I’ve been crushing on the outerwear trends from teddy coats, cropped bombers and shackets! Crushing on this brown shacket that is the perfect layering piece for fall – love that it’s an easy grab-n-go item for fall! How about this quilted puffer?
