Playful Spring Midi
After 10 amazing days in Munich and Italy, we are finally back home to the daily grind. Booooooo. I arrived in Munich with 65 pounds of luggage and left with close to 80 pounds – whoops. I found some really great shops, that I haven’t seen in the US, and managed to bring home some goodies – a couple dresses, jackets and some sandals you will just die for. Looking forward to sharing more soon. The last few days of our trip seemed like a marathon of site-seeing, MUST-SEE-IT-ALL. We visited the colorful city of Como – we did some shopping, lunched (and you guessed, we had Italian) and took a boat tour of the lake. Did we see George and Amal – no. But, that doesn’t mean we didn’t ask. Nooooo Villa de Clooney for this tour group. The following day we walked nearly eight miles around Milan to different neighborhoods, churches and of course, a few shops
We couldn’t leave without seeing the Duomo from the top of the Milan Cathedral – I even got Briey to take a few pictures while we were up there – coming soon. Milan is such flat city that it was truly amazing to see if from that vantage point. Soon I’ll be sharing a guide to both cities – note, they will be heavy on the food recommendations
