Pink

Happy Friyay! I think we are finally over the cold weather hump and I couldn’t be happier! This weather has me jumping for joy and craving fun bright colors – the tulips are in full bloom and I’m one happy girl! Today’s look is capturing just that! I’ve got a little extra spring in my step with the color pink on my mind! Normally I shy away from the color pink – it’s a young color that I feel like I’ve outgrown. My favorite part of todays look are these amazing Caterpillar casual reegan oxfords – and lets just leave it at that.[ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]When your favorite style shoes comes in pink for spring you jump, run, skip, squeal with joy – much like I am with the weather in Chicago. These pink suede oxfords are a dream! So here is a little nugget for you – these are made by Caterpillar. (Puzzled face) Yes, Caterpillar – the company that produces and manufactures construction equipment. They’ve always had a line of construction footwear, but have expanded their durable and sustainable fabrics to everyday wear. These pink oxfords are part of their new collection and are on-point for this spring’s trends. These oxfords were super easy to pair with this champagne skirt from Party Skirts. They have such fun and flirty skirts for any occasions. I scooped up this pink champagne midi skirt with every intention of wearing it with these oxfords.  The pale pink makes the skirt more versatile and wearable in any formal or informal scenario. Lets be honest, I’d never say no to a midi skirt.
