Mondays just ruin everything don’t they? I spent all day yesterday thinking about how I’m not ready for the week to start and here it is boo. I took full advantage of the weekend and weather, and spent it all outside. For a Chicagoan these most are precious – extremely precious.
This weekend I lived in swimwear and refused to wear any actual clothing. I am fully embracing summer and the notion of beachwear before I have to pack it and store it for winter. Even though summer is ending, I’m still shopping for swimwear. Why you ask? My favorite time of any season is during the transition period – one seasons fashions is moving out while another is moving in. The force of nature creates a storm we all love – SALES! While you might have been coveting swimwear in March and couldn’t justify paying $200 for a suit, the store is now struggling to sell it for free. This is when we, as shopping predators, attack. I couldn’t resist closing out summer without some more swimwear – I mean spring break is just around the corner 🙂
Well, today I’m sharing, if you haven’t guessed it, a swimwear look compliments of Vix Swimwear. Vix Swimwear is a super fabulous luxury swimwear line that embodies summer with their amazing prints, colors and swimwear designs. I have always been a big fan of the brand – while swimwear styles are constantly evolving their brand stays consistent AND their fabric does not pill!!
This weekend I took this Vix Swimwear suit and cover-up to Chicago’s Oak Street beach. Chicago does a fantastic job of keeping the shoreline clean and usable! Oak Street Beach is one of my favorites and stationed at the edge of the Gold Coast neighborhood giving you views of some of Chicagos most fabulous real estate.

Ok, so I actually received a bathing suit from a couple of brands and while I know I “should” post about them in some way my boyfriend does not feel comfortable with me putting my body out there on the internet, and I personally don’t believe I’m in the shape to do it either. What are your suggestions? I’m curious in terms of how to accomplish a review or post about it. ALSO you look phenomenal and this bathing suit is just so beautiful!
