Sporty Camo + Leather
Hello Friday! I’m starting the weekend right – with a sporty look. This week I’ve paired one of my most coveted tees with a simple ASOS leather pencil skirt and pumps. I was in L.A. back in August, see here, for a wedding and needed to make a few Bravo! Housewives stops along the way. Down the road from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant Villa Blanca, is a Kyle by Alene Too – Kyle being Kyle Richards. I walked in the store and was on sensory overload, they were having a sale and I wanted it all. I saw a rack of vintage looking tees with studs, metals and all sorts of embellishments – needless to say, I sprinted to it. As I was sifting through the racks, my hand touched this camo repurposed Adidas shirt with pearl-like beaded embellishments – it was divine and I need to have it.
I took the tee up to the checkout desk and the man at the counter was trying to convince me not to buy it – so he could. Obviously I did’t stand down. I later wore this exact look to a Topshop event in Chicago where I was followed by two guys who were taunting me, in a playful way – I hope, that I shouldn’t own this shirt, that they should. Men and women around – listen – I’ll fight anyone who wants to take this tee away from me….kidding… 🙂 I digress….
Today is our last day in Manchester and then we head off to Edinburgh (pronounced Edin – BRAAAA), Scotland for a short little stay before we head back to Manchester for a little more work. I’m super excited to walk the streets, hike Arthur’s Seat, visit a castle, maybe try some whisky and buy some Scottish wool! Anyone ever been? Any recommendations?
