A Majestic Gameday

Another week has past and it’s time for Friday game-day fashion! This week I have partnered with Majestic Atheltic to share one of my favorite fall game-day looks of the season! For me, it’s important to create functional game-day fashion. Game-day tops can have a place in fashion outside of the stadium! I enjoy the challenge of thinking creatively on how I can pair a game-day top with pieces that are currently trending. A game-day top should never be viewed as a one-hit wonder. With the season flooded with midi skirts, leather, track pants, faux fur, patterned pants, sequins, it’s not only easy, but fun to pair it with a something sporty!

Since I’ve been in massive denial that winter is honing in on us, I’ve refused to move my winter coats from storage into my home – boycotting if you will. In the interim I have been layering like its my job. Today I layered this faux fur vest over a green faux leather jacket. It creates dimension and texture in your look, all while keeping you warm and chic – duh! Both pieces are layered over this Chicago Bears short sleeve Raglan Lace-Up V-Neck top. The top has built in embellishment work with sequins, studs  and a lace-up necklace that act as accessories to the look – I love a top that can multitask and accessorize on it’s own.

Playing off my “I’m still in denial that winter is here” ignorance, I paired the look with a front slit skirt versus pants – instant chic for cocktails or a girls night out. Wear the look for another occasion and pair it with a coated denim pant or distressed denim for a different look and feel. With this seasons trends, the possibilities are endless.
