Shades of Grey
Today is my first full day back from the UK and as much as I love traveling, it’s pretty great to come home to your own place and bed! I mean there is really nothing better than being in your own bed and your own sheets. Let me tell you, I had quite the cuddle session with my bed last night – much needed it after I left it for 10 days!
Today I’m sharing a look based on how I feel today – I need neutrals and I need comfort. This chunky knit cardigan wrap was a lifesaver during my trip to the UK. When it was too warm to wear a coat, this was my go to. Pair it, layer it – it will work however you want it to. Fashion is the best boyfriend ever, you tell it what to do, it complies and doesn’t talk back.
Since we are having, dare I say it, somewhat of an Indian summer, I’ve been utilizing chunky knits and moto jackets as my primary source of outwear. It keeps the look relevant for the season and keeps you looking prepared. I layered the cardigan over a gray tank and my new favorite distressed black denim pants. I topped the look off with some suede booties and a few bright, but muted, accessories.
