Happy Hump Day! Any one else counting down the days until the weekend like me? I know I’m not the only one! Even though I’m ready for the weekend, all-in-all this has been a pretty successful week! For one, I started it out with a birthday!!! Woo! Another down for the count – it’s crazy how quickly they come and go! I was showered with so many kind notes and flowers from friends and family, and the most massive edible arrangement – thanks mom. My boyfriend gets the win for best gift with a gift card to Soul Cycle – he knows me and my addiction.
Today I’m wearing one of my favorite designers for a number of reasons, but firstly because we share the same initials! Needless to say I have a number of his phone cases because they just so happen to have my initials – easy for me! I wore this effortless Michael Kors faux maxi dress while in Boston a few weeks ago – It was the perfect travel companion!
When traveling I’m always looking for things that are easy, effortless and that can be folded without any major wrinkling issues. I hate ironing! Aside from that I need to travel in comfortable materials and spandex always wins for me! This dress is silky smooth with some stretch – every girls friend. It has fabulous movement that gives it a luxe feel that can be dressed up or down – win, win! It’s another really great piece to take from season to season as well! I layered it with this perfect emerald faux leather jacket and accessorized with with some taupe booties and a bag that pops!
