If there is one thing I’m crazy about more than Christmas right now, it’s plaid. I have been living in checkered pants, shirts, sweaters, you name it. I love how festive the pattern is, and how easy it can be dressed from day to night.  Well, today my plaid dreams have come true with this ultimate plaid combo.
With holiday fashion on my mind, I searched through my closet to find pieces from different seasons that I could repurpose into something for this holiday season. Easy. Done. It all started with this gorgeous skirt from T+J Designs! Originally I would have paired this skirt with it’s sister, a matching crop top, but due to the Antarctic temperatures I couldn’t. (Side note, it was 24 degrees when we shot this – by the time we finished I couldn’t feel any of my limbs. For the love of blogging!)
I paired the skirt with this buffalo checkered top from Old Navy – I bought it a size up to for a of more “boyfriend” cut look. The contrast of the color and pattern were a match made in heaven. I went simple on the shoes and bag for this look, but laid it on thick with my GO-TO (seriously no joke, I’ve worn it everyday this fall) jewelry accessory – the Courtney Bib. My favorite part about this shoot is that we stumbled across this darling little tree stand in Printers Row. Cassandra and I were mesmerized by the holiday charm. I even went home with some fresh Oregon garland for my home – win, win!
Whats your holiday go-to look this season? Have a great weekend!
