Faux Sho

To I’m sharing a quick little look that is oozing with faux – faux leather and fur that is. Lately I’ve really been in to dressing up the collar/lapels of my coats – its a super easy way to take a coat from season to season or to give it a whole new look… Without spending the money of buying a new coat! This faux leather jacket from ASOS is like a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde – the collar is removable giving it more function 🙂  Sometime faux fur can have a rough texture – like hair that hasn’t been washed in months. This particular collar is super high quality and under $120 – happy Friday to you!

I paired the look with a faux leather legging and a distressed denim shirt, to not take away from the busy collar. Topping the look off are my two favorite spring accessories – these suede booties from J.Crew and my new Pleats Design bag. The shoes – we met in Miami back in January. I didn’t buy them at the time and when I left Miami I had extreme buyers remorse. To be honest, you should never pay full price for anything at J.Crew – sure enough, three weeks later I snagged them online for 30% off. They are the perfect transitional shoe from winter to spring!

Last, but certainly not least, is this gorgeous bag by Pleats Design. The bag itself is an architectural wonder crafted with such care and thoughtfulness. The owners of Pleats are a married couple, both in the architecture industry – Milena is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and I’m so happy our pathes have crossed.
