Barefoot and Beaching It
Boy do I love Fridays! It’s just me, you and the weekend – well the rainy yucky weekend, but the weekend nonetheless. I’m still on a high from last night (figure of speech here). Myself and a number of other fabulous bloggers were invited to Westfield’s Fash Bash with the one and only Louise Roe and Mr. Kate. It was like a carnival for big kids – Sephora had a Beauty Bar that did lip applications, there were donuts, a photo booth, Mr. Kate was applying temporary tattooes, cocktails, a water color artist (cannot wait to show you mine) and a meet & greet with Louise Roe – I meannnnnn. Yes, that all happened in one night. I was like a kid in a candy shop – I still have my Mr. Kate metallic horseshoe tattoo on my wrist and I never want it to wash off. Thank you Westfield in Old Orchard for hosting us and being so gracious – it was such a fabulously run event. Something I can always appreciate 🙂
With summer just around the corner (and on my mind), it’s time to start dusting off those maxi dresses or whipping out the good old cc to stock up on new ones – I vote for the latter. During the summer months you can find me wearing two things – denim shorts and maxi dresses. Denim shorts are for the days I feel like shaving my legs and maxi dress are for, well, you can figure it out. You can find maxi dresses for any occasions – from festivals to weddings. You also need maxi dress for things like festivals and weddings 🙂
Today I’m sharing a favorite maxi from the Lookbook Store – seriously one of the best places to shop easy trends at a great price point. Now, white was never a thing I caught on to – maybe it’s because I’m prone to ALWAYS spilling shit on myself, but we just never got along. I wanted to try something new so I went for this white halter maxi dress. It’s the perfect dress with the right amount of detailing and a sexy slit down the middle. And people, that’s not event the best part – it’s $27. Yes, you are welcome.
