Hello friends and hello Monday! Where did the weekend go? They seem to be getting shorter and shorter! We were in Denver over the weekend and I found myself shopping – I over heard the employees at the store saying they were going to put out the Halloween stuff later! NOOOO! When did Halloween get here? Before you know it, it will be Christmas. Ok. Slowing down now. So we were in Denver for a wedding this weekend and it was lovely! We got home yesterday, I unpacked and repacked by bag for New York Fashion Week!! Woo! I’m headed to a couple shows and parties – follow along  on my Instastories to get all the updates! In honor of fall fashion, I’m wearing this Black Sleeveless Eyelet Peplum Blouse with my favorite raw edge denim pants  because it’s back to school time!

Friends – when did it turn September 7? I mean time really needs to just stop. My fear and anxiety of winter is getting worse with each day. AH!! Anyone want to migrate out west with me? Ok, I digress….Labor Day weekend was crazy pants! My best friend got married to her best friend in Segovia, Spain – I left Chicago Friday night and was back in Chicago on Sunday night? Crazy? Maybe. But, when you get older you value good friendships and will do the right things to be there for your friends! I’m so happy that I went – Ill share more of my travel pains on the next page! I was home in time for Labor Day so that I could sport this Multicolor Striped Off The Shoulder Blouse in the Chicago heat – it pairs perfectly with shorts and will look even better with some flares!

Hello all and happy Monday! Yet again another weekend has escaped us and we have debited another summer weekend! Summer is slowing winding down, school is nearly back in session and football is upon us! AH! That all being said, everyone resumes a somewhat back to normal work schedule. Bye bye summer hours – hello longer Fridays! When dressing for work, I’m always conscious about putting pieces together that are unique and unexpected. Who wants to do that! Be a little more darling and challenge your workwear with the unexpected like these studded heeled gladiator sandals. They pair perfectly with my summer obsession, these palazzo pants that are essentially pajamas!
