Happy Monday! Another weekend has come and gone, but I’m ready to take this week by the horns and own it. I have a busy week ahead of me, but I always have time for fashion! The weather is getting better and better by the minute and I love it – I finally put away ALL my winter coats and clothes for the season. I really hope I didn’t jinx myself, but I was really tired of having to wear a wool coat to work. It’s trench coat season! Speaking of trench coats, this Blush Pink Duster Coat from Ily Couture is a spring dream – it’s a great transitional outerwear piece and who doesn’t love the color!

In Chicago, outerwear with personality is a MUST! Sometimes we LIVE in outerwear from place to place and are seen in nothing else! This pink dust coat changes the game! 1) it’s suede (right on trend for spring), 2) the color is a very adult like pink ( if that makes sense) and 3) it pairs well with just about anything!

For this look I styled this Blush Pink Duster Coat with this gorgeous floral peplum top. I’ve really been drawn to florals lately – for the longest time I’ve steered away from them thinking they made me look young….or that they were too young for me. The silhouette of this top is perfect with the v-neck top and peplum bottom – easy to pair with denim or a skirt!

These Blank NYC denim jeans were a fantastic find from the Shopbop.com sale a few weeks ago. Blank NYC denim is one of my FAVORITE denim brands because everything is under $100! I used to pay over $200 for my jeans – why?!? Their jeans fit like a glove and I wear them all the time.

Before we part ways today, lets chat about these mules shall we? Have you seen anything more fun or gorgeous? Ok, maybe they are a lot, BUT they are soooo much fun! Tis the season for mules and you might as well have fun with it! These are a fab fin from Zara – they do shed just a little bit, but worth it!
