Hello Friday! Today I am welcoming you with open arms! I’ve been traveling since Tuesday for work and am heading home now for a short 24 hours before I’m back on a plane! Does anyone else feel like summer is over!!!!

Today I’m sharing a fun look on mixing masculine and feminine elements – I love nothing more than taking a super feminine piece and dressing it down with an unexpected masculine piece. It’s the best way to get dual usage out of a dress – and we need dual usage for all our white dresses this summer right? Only 120 days to wear them…kinda sorta.

I found this Zara dress about two years ago and count down the days to wear it each year – it’s perfect in every way! To get the most use out of it, I paired it with this utility jacket from Gap to give it a masculine edge – perfect for dinner, drinks, or whatever your heart desires.

In terms of accessorizing, I’m not one for jewelry. I like to wear really dainty things to complete my look – nothing that adds weight to the scale. Every now and then a look needs a little accessorizing and today, I’ve done so with one of my treasures from our Milan trip earlier this year. These are definitely classified as the “double-take” shoe. The block heel on point with this seasons shoe trends and double as a comfortable way to look fabulous!
