Shopping Small with American Express
The holidays are in full swing friends and I can’t believe it! I’ve started a little holiday shopping, but still have a few big things left to get! Christmas will be here before you know it! Last week I shared why I like to #ShopSmall and what it means to me. Many of my holiday gifts will come from my favorite local shops – to me those gifts have far more meaning. I’m sharing why shopping small with American Express at my favorite restaurants in Chicago is important to me. Shopping small at restaurants means you not only support the local community, but the farm communities they support. Chicago prides itself on good eating and let me tell you, it’s no joke! Many of the restaurants are stand alones and aren’t considered large chains. Many of the restaurants we venture to also support local farmers by utilizing their produce over big chain distributors. There is such a good feeling in helping those small business and keeping the labor local.

[/ezcol_1half_end]Eastman Egg is one of MY favorite breakfast spots in all of Chicago. The enviorment is super welcoming and relaxing and who doesn’t like eggs all day every day! Their menu is amazing, you have to try the biscuit sandwich with Turkey sausage, and they also share where they buy their produce each month. The ingredients are always super fresh and tasty. Love it!
