Shop Small with American Express this Holiday

Oh, the holidays! The other day I was driving around downtown to find that the city has already started installing the Christkindl Market…who is ready for mulled wine? Me! With the holidays JUST around the corner I have started thinking about my shopping plan of action and where to buy gifts for my loved ones! It’s easy to buy something online and call it a day, but this year I really wanted to put in the extra effort to have my shopping experience be more meaningful. Today I’m sharing my plan to Shop Small with American Express this holiday season at some of my favorite qualifying small businesses in the West Loop, while earning more the rewards with my enrolled Blue Cash Everyday Card.

The West Loop of Chicago, my home and favorite neighborhood in the city, has some of the best small businesses in the city. From local coffee shops, to restaurants, to boutiques with unique fashion finds – you can’t go wrong! I find myself never leaving the area, because everything I need is here! La Colombe is one of my FAVORITE coffee shops of ALL TIME. They have this thing called the Draft Latte and it’s a latte on tap. Yes, on tap. It’s glorious and it’s the only thing that keeps me going during the day. I buy my morning coffee there everyday, but now through 12/31 I could earn more rewards when I use my enrolled Blue Cash Everyday Card from American Express to make my daily purchase. Getting the best coffee in town and earning rewards? Winning!
