Blue Suede Dress

 Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I’m writing from sunny Beijing. I’m here for work with a wee bit of pleasure mixed in here and there. Today we ventured off to the Great Wall of China thinking it was going to be a leisure walk across a section of the wall. Um, no. We were wrong. We couldn’t have been more wrong. we climbed roughy 90 flights of steps and walked 3 miles on our grueling hike up the wall! I brought my camera thinking we could take some nice shots of the view – there isn’t one photo without my glorious sweat stains all over it. All-in-all it was an amazing hike and some pretty amazing views. Next up…Shanghai! Yes, the dress is suede and sure, may not be made for all temperatures, but on those cool summer nights, why not. I paired the dress with this perfect khaki jacket – great for summer temps and perfect for the price. I want to grad one to two pieces and head out the door – don’t you? The same goes for my shoes – I’m always on the hunt for the perfect pair that can be worn with just about anything. These Dune sandals have saved my life this summer so far and I won’t be taking them off any time soon.
