Festival Fashion
With the announcement of the Coachella and Lollapalooza line-ups, I’m ready for spring and festival fashion!! Festival fashion is one of those categories where the 20 year olds, 30 year olds and 40 year olds all come together is a non-judgy environment to celebrate music, short shorts, floral crowns and crop tops – we are all equal. There is nothing more fun than prancing around in the hot sun with a tasty beverage and some fringe. God bless summer – I’m so ready for it! [/ezcol_1half_end]When I first spotted this dress, I knew it was a keeper! I love the print, style and of course, the amazing high slit! I wore this on an extremely windy day in the Windy City and was showing my cha cha to the world – I mean, when you blog you really can’t take your life too seriously otherwise you wouldn’t have fun, and it starts with flashing people in the streets. Melissa from Iron & Honey has some fantastic outtakes 🙂
When festival-ing it’s all about the accessories – jewelry, bags, shoes, hats. All of it! Fashion gluttony. This hat is the perfect accessory and sun blocker for those sun festival days. It’s pairs great with this dress, but is a super versatile hat that can be paired with just about anything.
Are you going to any festivals this year? We purchased tickets to Coachella, but ended up selling them 🙁 That hurt. BUT, Lolla is literally in our backyard so that’s always an easy on to get to. Enjoy your weekend – I hope the weather is planning nice where you are![ezcol_1half]
