DIY Valentino Style
I went on a serious mission to find something similar at a fraction of the cost…..I tried SoleSociety.com, but they were sold out of their version. I tried Shoedazzle.com, but they were sold out of their versions too! I eeeeeeven tried to find a pair in China…I know…..bad Mary! After many failed attempts I walked over to DSW in hopes of filling my shoe envy void. With the Rockstud pump on my mind, nothing looked appetizing. And then, I found it. These shoes were lodged at the bottom of the size 7 sale rack, but it was like someone left a trail of skittles for me to find them 🙂 The style is similar, but was lacking studs at the time. Easy fix….I was so spoiled, because next door was a craft store! Done!
I rushed home and began crafting away. A couple of hours and a nearly broken/bruised thumb later, I was as happy as a little kid on Christmas! This look is SO easy to replicate, if you are willing to put in the time….and shed some blood. Note: Be sure to sand the edges of the studs, once you have pierced them through the leather.
Welp my appetite has been suppressed, for the time being 🙂 Enjoy and happy weekend!!
