Dark Denim Shirt Dress
Happy Monday! Yesterday was the most amazing day in Chicago – we went to the pool and enjoyed summer cocktails while falling in and out of our Sunday afternoon nap. Today, it’s a tundra again. Hey, I guess we can’t have it all! Well, yesterdays weather has me all excited for the slow and steady race to summer. I’m dreaming of open toed shoes, denim dresses and chambray trenches. You certainly don’t want your clothes weighing you down, not when it’s hot – that is fun for no one! This dark denim shirt dress from Lori’s is the perfect spring go-to for anything really! Here I paired it with these Steve Madden peep-toe booties, also from Loris. For more wear, trying pairing it with a gladiator sandal or even a a platform sneaker! I’m sooooo into the platform sneaker right now and wear them everywhere with everything. Athleisure, I love you.

While walking around the Wynwood Walls in Miami, I needed a shoe that I could put some mileage on, but also gave me some length to my legs in this dress. These perforated booties made life super easy! I love the texture from the perforated leather – it’s such a fun element to the shoe and makes it breathable….much needed in Miami![ezcol_1half]

I have been wearing more dresses now that summer is approaching. I like the way the waist is made on this one. It will be more attractive on me than a fitted waist.
This is definitely an adorable dress, and you look fabulous in it. I also am seriously in LOVE with the background. You find the BEST spots in Chicago to take pictures and I’m so envious. I’m lucky if the cactus in mine looks like a cactus LOL. Keep rocking it girl, you’re killing it!
