Chef Sarah Grueneberg, Top Chef finalist and owner of Monteverde, was there whipping up her Prosciutto Butter Toast – yup, it sounds as good as it tastes friends. I loved being able to catch-up with Sarah and letting her know how big of a fan of hers I am. So true story, we live two blocks from her restaurant and LOVE that it’s one of our neighborhood gems. If you are in Chicago and haven’t tried it yet, you must!

As a Midwestern girl, I couldn’t deny layering the slider with all the cheese! I couldn’t go home without heading to the gelato taste test – I may or may not have tasted 10 different gelatos.
