Reason #1,435,367 I love the West Loop in Chicago. 1) It’s the most convenient neighborhood, well for me. 2) Anything and everything you need is just around the corner. 3) We have the best coffee and donut shop in the city – Glazed and Infused. Ill be honest, I engage in a little donut eating now and then, and when I do, it’s always at Glazed and Infused. They have some of THE best donuts – every time I go, I attempt to try something new, but always stick with the sprinkled ones. They taste like cake!!! Today I’m sharing a fun casual weekend look, because let’s be honest we are thinking about the weekend, with this amazing Button Front Denim Midi Skirt from Norstrom via Madewell! This summer weather is amazing and I cant get enough of it! As soon as the Fourth of July is behind us, thats when I start to panic about Summer coming to an end! Ah! Don’t go!!!! I spent my days again at the pool this past weekend I wouldn’t have it any other way – I mean as a Chicagoan these moments are far and few between. We have a couple trips planned for the second half of summer and I can’t wait – I’m always up for a good adventure, exploring a new place and experiencing new cultures. This week we are headed back to China for a two week stint for work (follow along on snapchat: mksportsanista). In August we are headed to the Adriatic Coast of Italy and then Albania! Well Monday came faster than we all expected right? I spent the better part of my weekend sweating through all my clothes. I think I showered more this past weekend than I have in the last six months. Real talk. It was HOT in Chicago, but take note, this is NOT me complaining – I’m merely stating a fact. With the heat wave in Chicago I have to get creative / strategic with what I’m wearing – the less sweat stains the better right?
