Carbon 38

Blogger Mary Krosnjar wearing Carbon 38 workout gearFor the past 28 weeks, I have completely dedicated my spare time to trying to make a difference in my body through my eating habits and my workouts. In November 2017, I took the plunge and downloaded the Sweat app to try the BBG workout – flash forward 28 weeks and I have completely fallen in love with the program. Throughout this process I have rewarded myself with fun workout outfits to keep me going – to help me stay motivated! Today I’m sharing a workout inspired look from one of my favorite fitness brands, Carbon 38 – your workout gear just got a whole lot chicer!

WHY I LOVE THIS LOOK

Lace Up Bra // This white bra is business in the front and a party in the back! Love the lace detailing!

Lace Up Pants // I’d been searching high and low for a great pair of nude colored pants – the lace detailing will up your fitness game! They aren’t see-through, but I’d recommend nude / seamless undies.

Ballet Wrap Long Sleeve // Since I workout in sport bras (I hate sweating in shirts), I’m always looking for tops that I can wear over them to and from the gym! These one is PERFECT – not to mention you can wear it with a pair of high-waisted denim!

APL Sneakers // I’ve heard so many great reviews about these shoes and made the plunge. They are a really great , light-weight, training shoe. How fun is the color?

Monday through Friday I focus on eliminating meat, dairy and any added sugars to my diet – this truly allows me to see the best results following my workouts. On the weekends I allow myself to cheat, but only marginally – I’ll eat fish or red meat here and there for iron, etc. For anything you are removing from your diet, be sure to supplement with vitamins if necessary. Trader Joe’s has made the switch in my diet super easy and cost effective too – they have a ton of really great options when supplementing items in your diet.

The amazing thing about the SWEAT app is that all your workouts and meals are in the app – I don’t follow the meals religiously, but they provide a ton of inspiration for my meals that week. If you are on the fence about the program and the app, they have a 7-day trial period that gives you a good sense of the commitment and the app functions.

Anyone on here currently use the app? What do you like about it? What don’t you like? My new found love for working out has truly inspired my eating habits, so look out for a post on my Trader Joe’s shopping list!
