Lace Me Up
Ni hao from gorgeous Shanghai! It’s nearly the end of the day here which is crazy when you think about it – we are in the future We walked all over the city, enjoyed some delicious coffee, dim sum and then the occasional glass of Chardonnay. Looking forward to sharing some of the things we saw later this week. Be sure to follow along on Instagram! Today’s look is all about Monday comfort with this perfect white lace up front sweatshirt. What better way to keep the weekend going than to wear something super comfy to ease into the week right.[ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]Mondays are uncomfortable enough so why not be comfortable in what you are wearing! This white lace up front sweatshirt is the perfect way to start any Monday – the lace-up detailing is fresh and keeps it from looking like a straight forward sweatshirt. Pair it with a high-waisted pencil skirt or go for a more casual approach with these dope bell bottoms – ps, I will continue to load my wardrobe with these. The 70’s will forever live on in my closet. [ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work from home a few days a week, but for me its important to still get ready and dressed as if I’m going to the office. If I didn’t, I’d be in my pajamas more often than not! Some times I even like to get out of my own house and soak in the creativity of a different venue. My favorite coffee place in Chicago, La Colombe is the perfect setting, and backdrop for this shoot. Their coffee is insane, get the draft latte, and their West Loop location has copious amounts of natural light. Cant beat that![ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]Finally, accessories do everything and then some. This bag is the ultimate work accessory and its the best, wait for it, $50 I’ve ever spent. Thats right folks – it’s under $50. The best feature? It’s completely reversible! While packing for our Shanghai trip, I really waned something that could go with my brown-tone looks and black-tone looks. Oh, did I mention I also needed it to be packable? Honestly I couldn’t believe I found the holy grail of work bags – check out the other colors here. [ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]

I’m so jealous! I’ve always wanted to go to Shanghai! Have a blast!
i love how exaggerated this top is. from the extra large laceup, to the special texturing, I dig it. One of our best selling womens jerseys has a smaller, similar detail, so it’s only natural that this is right up your alley!
