The Perfect Night in with Marshalls

This post couldn’t have arrived on a more perfect day! It’s the middle of the week and the weekend is in sight! I work like a crazy person – with my full-time job in the sports industry, my second full-time job as Sportsanista and then, oh yea, I coach a high school poms squad. Between all that I try to see my friends, boyfriend and sleep – not always in that order. Any chance I have a free moment to myself, I savor it like the last M&M from the bag.

While these opportunities are far and few, when they do come around I celebrate like it’s 1999, in a non-party, non-drinking sort of way – think detox. Well today I’m sharing how your SURPRISE is waiting for you at Marshalls for that perfect night in!

Now on to the perfect night in with Marshalls…..The one thing I never have time for, but love, are baths – wouldn’t that be nice if tub faucets were WIFI connected and you would start your bath from home? Sounds amazing right! Ha! A girl can dream! I went to Marshalls with a mission in mind – to create the perfect night in for myself. I headed straight to the beauty section and went hunting for essentials for my party of 1! While looking for bubble bath soap, I found a SURPRISING selection of Ole Henricksen products there for the taking! I scored this Ole Henricksen body scrub and oil for a combined cost of $28 – Marshalls saved me $12.00. My bath time was all set to go, so now I needed some TLC products for my sad and tired face!

I turned to the facial products and saw my three favorite words – Retinol, anti-wrinkle and detox! I, within three seconds,  had successfully scored a facial in a box, the fountain of youth in a both and a detoxing mask to seal it all in! My fingers were crossed that on the Saturday morning I’d wake up looking younger! I scored all three products for $24.99 – um, more money in my pocket!

Because snacking and relaxing come hand-in-hand for me I headed over to the home goods area to stock up on a few things to nibble on during my bath and relaxing mud mask – multi-tasking is my favorite past time, what can I say. My boyfriend has a habit of putting Sriracha on everything and by default, I’ve become a Sriracha lover. My heart raced when I saw that Pop! had figured out that good things come from pouring Sriracha in a bag of popcorn! Success! En route to the heavenly popcorn, I spotted the greatest coffee mug alive. I mean every blogger in the world would have stopped in their tracks! I picked up this #selfie mug for $3.99 – the perfect addition to my coffee mug selection! If anything it serves as a great conversation piece!

A relaxing night in wouldn’t be anything without some comfy apparel. Now that the temperatures are slowly cooling off, I’ve been stocking up on some fall essentials  – chunky knits and ponchos! This BCBGeneration poncho is the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe and the perfect weekend casual piece. Here I paired the poncho with classic plain tee and some distressed denim pants with the right amount of stretch – remember, this is supposed to be a relaxing night in. The best part was that I purchased it for $16.99 – almost a $40 value. Getting a value on seasonal products is super important to me considering how often I may or may not wear it!

Well friends, it’s time for me to go back to la la land and dream about my relaxing night in! Lesson learned from this post, Marshalls is your one stop shop for just about anything!
