Chicago Style
Happy Friday everyone! Yay! It’s the weekend – who is ready? Today I’m flying back from the UK and headed home to sunny Chicago – and to my love I spent last night binge watching the showing Made in Chelsea. Think The Hills, but better, with British accents and juicer drama – MUCH juicer! The only problem….it can only be streamed in the UK!!!!! I’ve to download it every which way in the US with no such luck. So last night I finished the last season available online (without knowing). I went to start a new season and there was nothing – I nearly ran to the store for a DVD copy of the new season. Obsessed much? Yes!
Ok so lets chat. How cute is this black and white check twin set? Now, I have a seriously affinity for twin sets – they are an easy one-stop shop and are versatile pieces that can be interchanged. Who doesn’t like multiple outfits in one?! I loved pairing it with these lace-up beauties and a fringe clutch for some texture to the look. I’ve already started my fall outfit planning and this is on the docket with some peep-toe booties and a leather moto jacket – yes!
This twin set is from a local Chicago brand T+J Design – two amazing sisters who are bloggers and then started their own apparel brand. It felt fitting to make this a complete Chicago style post and top it off with a Chicago dog, complete with all toppings – no ketchup, those are the rules.
Have a beautiful weekend! I hope you have sunshine where ever you are! Peace!

two-piece sets are too fun! Black and white is so chic, so I love the modern take on this classic trend. Also, your background is so pretty!

When I first saw this, I was thinking, is she raving about a twin set-bedding?
Then I read on and I love this outfit, especially the shoes!

I love all two-piece sets!! This gingham one is just too cute. Can’t wait to see you wear it again this fall! Really, no ketchup on a true Chicago dog? But ketchup on a hot dog is just sooo good
