Spring Game Shoes!
The best part about Spring game is that the greatest sport ever created is back; the worst part about Spring game is it’s one of the longest days you have worked in a while! What better way to prevent yourself from getting that pink slip from the groundskeeper (true story, seen it happen), and making sure you are comfortable all day than wearing wedges! Wedges are so crafty and evenly distribute your weight from ball to heel, increasing the longevity of wear….bam!
Now, on to the good stuff….here are my top four picks for the draft….
Meet Michael Kors’s Quarterback, Vivian. The QB is the brains of the operations and is more often than not, the best looking person on the team 🙂 The QB is the most visible and important person on the team; like the QB, these shoes have a great deal of responsibility, which is keeping you comfortable!
The Left Tackle is the team’s best pass blocker; the Left Tackle will often have better footwork and be quicker than the Right Tackle. Otherwise known as the blindside, the Left Tackle will come at you when you least suspect it! The Julian by Dolce Vita is the highest paid LT on my team.
On to the Tailback….The Tailback is one the most glamorous positions on the field with its pass and running attack. These gladiator wedges by Ann Taylor LOFT is the starting Tailback on my team. The openwork design is super edgy which give these wedges that glamorous touch! Normally I wouldn’t look twice at a shoe with a heel under 3 inches, but these shoes are touchdown dance worthy!
Finally, we will discuss the Kicker. The Kicker is the most versatile athlete on the team and will double as the kicker or punter…..not to mention, they need shoes that stay securely on their feet….and so do we. The Mallory by Sam Edleman is a double agent; the cork wedge is casual, but the patent leather top gives that level of sophistication for work.
