Neoning, On an Intern Budget! by Megan Riggs

Neon, so hot right now. I
love a good statement and bold colors just as much as the next gal, however,
with neon, a little goes a long way. Too
much and you end up looking like the Baylor Men’s Basketball team circa 2012
Big XII tournament- flagrant fowl status.

When it comes to key neon pieces, this Sportsanista has a few go
to players. First, these Ann Taylor Loft sandals. The snake print makes them wonderfully
neutral, the splash of electric yellow on the strap makes my heart melt, and
the price makes them intern budget friendly.

Next, bracelets, my new obsession. They add a pop of color and cover my running
watch tan-talk about a team player. This
hot pink number from Forever 21 is a great option, and for only $3, it is a
great trend buy. In my world, hot pink is a neutral.

To polish off your looks think summer scarves and earrings.

This Zara scarf will spice up any basic top
or dress and the neon green next to your pretty little face will give your
summer glow a little boost.

Rarely, is there a day I leave the house without my Kate Spade gumdrops. These earrings may be one of
the best things to ever happen to me, besides Nordstrom Rack coming to Kansas
City (bias, I know). The white ones are
the perfect finishing touch to any
outfit. They are just bright enough to
make people notice and be envious they do not own them. Perfection.
