Bracketology

For me March means two things….Spring Break and March Madness. For today’s post I pulled some inspiration from a couple contenders in the upcoming NCAA tournament. With that said I created my own bracket of fashion and am encouraging (or forcing) you all to vote and put your favorite pairings/schools through to the Fashion Final!

Lets take a look at the competition, shall we?
Maize and blue are such royal colors that could give the University of Michigan that competitive edge in this competition. This Fantasy Fabric Blazer from Zara can be paired with just about anything, so why not pair it with this amazing neon top from Nanette Lepore. Neon is big, actually HUGE right now. Is Michigan somewhat fashion forward with their neon uni’s?
If the Orange is the mascot of Syracuse, then these pants by Milly should be the University’s national pant. Compliment the pant with a neutral sweater; I cannot express my love for this sweater from H&M enough. Not only is it just simply glitz and glamour, but its $35…..yeah, that is not a typo.
How can you go wrong with black and gold? Just ask Mizzou….they would tell you that you can’t! I have a huge crush on these pants and have just recently added them to my wardrobe. Zara has created a faux leather pant, by coating a skinny pant with paint…to me that sounds like a three-pointer that just won the game…..and the crowd goes wild. H&M followed suit and painted this sweater gold at a price point that is unheard off….$9.
Can you hear that? That’s the Gator chomp all the way from Gainesville, Florida. Is this about my love for Tebow or my love for a colored pant and statement necklaces…..I guess you’ll never know. You can never go wrong with a statement necklace and you can never go wrong with Kate Spade. I absolutely cherish this necklace from Kate Spade and its versatility. A good statement necklace needs the ability to do one thing…..have the ability to be paired with everything. Oh and look, this necklace matches these electric blue trousers from Jcrew ever-so….no intentional foul here.
Who will go on? Who will advance? Its all up to you!
Happy Friday!

  1. My vote is for University of Michigan and Mizzou (although you made it really hard with that gorgeous necklace from Kate Spade). What's next!?
