Over the last 5 years we have seen stores like Target and Kohls feature low priced collections by major high fashion designers such as Vera Wang, Missoni, Zac Posen and many more. It was only natural that Payless would follow suit to offer their shoppers the same experience.
Who doesn’t love accessible fashion? Sarah Jessica Parker created a line back in 2008 for Steve and Barry’s stores (may S&B rest in peace), and her slogan was Fashion is not a luxury. Amen! Since shopping has become a hobby of mine, I have to justify my purchases; I have to rationalize and convince myself that the item I am about to buy will be worn more than once. Well Im not sure that I will have to do that much longer…..
To this day Christian Siriano is/has/will be one of my favorite contestants on Project Runway. Sir “Fierceness” himself has lent his fashion expertise and style to payless shoppers. Pair these Christian Siriano Katia pumps with just about anything…..pencil skirt, black skinny pant, leather mini, skinny jeans, etc…..Who can go wrong with $34.99…there is your justification….You always have room in your closet for a pair of black pumps, so there is no need to make any justifications with yourself when shopping.
Lela Rose is quite the veteran to creating affordable fashion. Lela has been designing collections for Payless since 2007. What I enjoy most about her shoes is that they will provide character to any outfit.
Quincy Laser Cut Boot I love me a good calf bootie; I especially love them when they are $22. Think they may be too bold for you to wear to work? Wear them with opaque black tights to fill in the pattern. The other day I paired a similar boot with a flowy silk dress by DVF…think about it. Morgan Printed Ballet Flat This graphic print flat is great if you plan on doing a lot of walking during your day! Comfortable and fashion is achievable, AND for $12 dollars you cannot beat it! Im already pairing outfits in my head….black skinny pant, black sheer blouse……
Along with Payless, Kohls has attracted designers such as Jennifer Lopez and Vera Wang to create more affordable shoes to make our feet all fancy 🙂
I love a good flat and under no circumstance should a flat be dull! I ADORE the ones here from Jennifer Lopez and Vera Wang. Go neutral up top so that you can have some happy feet with these flats. Color blocking is so simple, and makes such a great statement! Can’t decide on which ones you like? Who needs to decide when combined they are both under $100!
Now it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. I would love to close this show with a little number dear to my heart. I call this one Nude Pumps and I dedicate it to you all! Every person should own AT LEAST one pair of nude pumps; I own four….woops 🙂 I wear them with EVERYTHING and they go with EVERYHING. If I could wear them while working out on the eliptical, I would….hmmmm….note to self.
