There are so many things I enjoy about the fall – the crisp mornings, apple cider, pumpkin EVERYTHING, cozy layers, boots and flats! I retire my sandals in prep for the Chicago Winter, but until then we have booties and flats. Today I’m sharing some of the best flats for fall and I promise you that they won’t disappoint!
Everyone needs a good arsenal of flats for fall and today I’m sharing the best flats for fall – they are great for the weekend, when you have long days of running around and pairing with causal wear! Here are some of my favorite trends to name a few….
This season the mule has made a HUGE comeback! They are such an easy shoe to slip on and go! For me they are a great shoe for weekend wear and travel. Especially when dealing with airport security these days, you need an easy shoe to take on and off – and if you are like me, my feet swell in-flight so I need a slip on! These snake embossed mules are killer and would be fabulous with some leather skinnies and a moto jacket! If you are looking for something a little more casual, these velvet mules are just divine – great to pair with some distressed denim don’t you think!
Platforms have been one of my biggest go-tos this season! Style them with denim or a beautiful floral skirt – either way it works! These metallic platforms (not too overwhelming) are the perfect transition in to the trend and are the perfect statement piece for fall!
‘Tis the season for all things glittery and sparkly! The other day I saw Christmas decorations in a Pier 1 store front! I couldn’t believe it, but once Halloween is behind us it’s Thanksgiving and Christmas full speed ahead. Stock up on some sparkly goodies for the holiday season like these blue glitter loafers or these gold glitter ankle flats! Cant you just see them with a velvet pant suit or dress now? Heaven!
I love a good subtle detail in a shoe too! The scalloping in these shoes is such a subtle yet classy detail! These particular shoes are a FRACTION of the price compared to the Chloé version as well coming in at $42 dollars – you’re welcome friends! These shoes are perfect for casual wear and pairing with jeans for your weekend plans!
