I love nothing more than a good trench coat during the fall months. With sleeves, without sleeves, I don’t judge, nor do I discriminate. The versatility of this trench dress is endless. Wear it during the summer months with a pair of gladiator sandals, wear it as a vest with a pant and tank, and layer it over a tee for fall with a pair of booties – exhibit A above.

Adding a striped tee gives new dimension and purpose to this simple trench dress. I paired the dress with a simple, and understated, crossbody bag – big enough to just carry the essentials, and perfect for my upcoming trip to the UK. Instead of pairing the look with an open toed bootie, I went with a perforated black suede bootie – similar concept and both effective.
