Sequins + Pleats

This outfit is making me feel all good inside – especially since I’ve been suffering from the flu for the past few days. I wouldn’t wish the flu on anyone, not even Justin Bieber. The only thing putting a pep back in my step is this sequin top from J.Crew and faux leather pleated skirt from BCBG. It’s flirty, feminine, fun and giving Winter the good ole stiff arm. My mother will probably read this post and tell me this is how I caught the flu – no tights and no coat….shame on me. 

For a pop of color, I went with this delectable color from MAC – Candy Yum Yum. It’s typically my go to during the Summer, but an all black look requires a serious color pop. For some additional color, I added this neon stripped wallet from Target – which I might add is only $14.99!! A purchase that made me feel like I was shoplifting. These are two easy ways to add bright colors into your winter look. You better get used to it – Winter isn’t going anywhere…..
