| Tiffany’s Final Product |
A few Saturdays ago I got REAL ambitious with my friend Tiffany. Aside from accomplishing workouts, lunch, shopping, we thought…..why not take a Chan Luu DIY class. You familiar with the Chan Luu bracelet? They are all the rage….and can cost you a small fortune if you buy the real thing. There is this super amazing bead shop in Lincoln Park called enBeadia. The owner Millie is all sorts of fantastic and so is her endless supply of beads. We happened to take the class on the day all beads were 50%….the gods were on our side that day. Of course we called ahead of time to verify that brining a bottle of champagne and orange juice was kosher…turns out…it was! A few mimosas and a couple hours of beading later, we had some GREAT pieces! Tiffany created something more formal to be verstaile with day and night. I went with something a little more casual…..I have vacation on my mind; a girl needs some accessories to wear at the beach right? Take advantage of these slow winter weekends and make a your own Chan Luu! Check out the DIY videos below!
