Pockets are a Girls Best Friend!

Next to diamonds, pockets are a girls best friend. These days when shopping for a dress, pockets are my NUMERO UNO deciding factor as to whether I will purchase the dress or not. Now owning several dozen dresses with pockets from causal to formal, anything without a pocket is deemed nonfunctional. Pockets on a dress remind me of this quote from Talladega Nights….”I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo T-Shirt because it says I want to be formal, but I’m here to party”. Pockets are just that…. a party.

Ive always referred to dresses as a one stop shop. In the summer, pair them with a wedge; in the winter, pair them with tights and boots or platform pumps. The less thinking that I have to do in the morning, the better! Pockets have since revolutionized the wear of dresses and has given us a natural place to store our hands, or other game-day necessities. They are practical and can only help in a situation of need. Shove some gameday tickets, your walkie-talkie, phone, keys, etc in your pocket……just not all at once 🙂
