Quinta Nova Winery
Happy Wednesday! Today Spring has finally started to show it’s face and I couldn’t be happier. I celebrated by wearing a dress with no tights – it feels so good! Last week I shared my looks from Casablanca and Marrakech – this week I’m sharing all my looks from Portugal leading up to Coachella! I’m starting off the series by sharing our trip to the Quinta Nova Winery and how this long sleeve belted shirtdress was just as good as the wine!

WHY I LOVE THIS LOOK:
Striped Dress // This striped dress is a dream! It was chilly in Porto so I styled it with jeans! The nautical stripes are great for spring!
High-Waisted Denim // Everyone must own a pair of mom jeans – these are THE best and I swear by them!
Woven Hat // Straw hat to have in your collection AND it’s under $25! Comes in two colors!
Quilted Flats // A great pair of flats – I half splurged and bought them on The Real Real.
Cat Eye Sunglasses // The cat eye sunglass trend is taking over this spring! These are under $25 – a steal!

During our trip we reserved a day to make a visit to Porto’s famous wine country – we took the two hour scenic train ride from Porto to Ferrao to make our way to Quinta Nova Winery. The ride was beautiful and really easy – the tour hours flew by!
We started the experience with a tour of the facilities that are over 300 years old, aka older than the U.S! The property is stunning, but my favorite part, aside from the tasting, were the rooms in the manor home! All the furniture in the rooms are from the original manor home / time period and are stunning!

Following the tour we stopped for a quick wine tasting and sample three of their varietals! Ok – and I’m not just saying this, but I am very picky about my reds and their red blends were just DIVINE!
Te history of the winemaking business Porto is remarkable and goes back hundreds of years! If you find yourself in Porto, I’d recommend adding a day to your trip to make your way to the Duoro Valley at Quinta Nova – taking in the 120 acre views from the pool with a glass of wine in your hand. Does it get any better?
