Metallic in Milan
Hey guess what? It’s FRI-YAY! Who is ready for the weekend? What do you have planned? After stuffing ourselves with brats, schnitzel and beer, we have arrived in the land of pizza and pasta – Milano!! Big Booty Judy has been like a kid in a candy shop – she can’t be stopped and I won’t stop her. Side note – for those of you unaware, BBJ is my hunger alter ego.
Last night we dined at this Italian restaurant off the beaten path – another good Trip Advisor find!! The menu was robust – I couldn’t make a decision on what I wanted to order!! We ordered starters – Brian, with the cheese and meat plate, and I, with the fried dough ball – obviously. It took over an hour to eat our starters as the meat and cheese plate could feed a small country, and my fried dough ball was actually plural, times 10. Knowing that the culture takes their food very seriously, we ate every last bite to not have to deal with the food guilt! We then ordered our mains which came out 20 minutes later – I had two bites of the most delicious bucatini and called it a day. Having been a few glasses of wine in me…..I didn’t realize the stir I was causing.
