Casual in Camo

And with a blink of an eye it’s Monday and we are back! I had one of the best weekends ever – I slept until 10am, organzied the house, did a closet purge, caught up on Vampire Diaries and made a massive indent in my couch. I’d say thats a good week. OHHH and lets not forget about my Mountaineers. After four nail biting quarters, the Mountaineers lost by a point!!! Im slightly defeated, but there is always this Saturday! What did you do?
Today I’m featuring another look from my UK trip a few weeks ago. When I saw this dress online, it was love at first purchase. I packed a number of neutral pieces for the UK – because EVERYONE only wears black – but added a few pops of color, but nothing over the top. I own a number of pieces in camo print, but not a dress. I always thought that camo on that large of a surface could be too intense. With the spectrum of unusual greens featured in this print, it didn’t appear to be so overwhelming – it also made the dress more on trend than a custom piece for one of the Duck Dynasty wives.
I paired the look with my FAVORITE bib necklace that I just can’t seem to take off these days! Next, I added tights to the look (the first ones of the season) and these gorgeous light grey booties. The color is perfect and versatile across all seasons.
