Geometric in Shoreditch

As soon as we landed in London we headed straight for our hotel (the lovely Soho House in Shoreditch) and ordered two very large lattes. In Europe a large latte means a double espresso 🙂 We unpacked for a bit and freshened up before we made our way over to the London Eye. It was something we both hadn’t done before and we caught it at the right time – just before sunset. See some of the pictures I took here.
We are placed in line next to this little boy who decided to cough with his mouth open and spray his venom over everything. We tried to avoid getting stuck in a pod with him on the ferris wheel, but no dice. The door closed and we feared for our lives. This boy proceeded to cough and touch every railing and window in our pod which started to feel like an incubator for the flu. We tried to escape him, but we struggled. It was either stand next to him or next to the group of Europeans that took selflies for a solid 20 minutes – it was truly amazing to watch. By the way, the London Eye was great. All that aside….
My first look in London was all about comfort. I had just curled by body in an unnatural ball for the eight hour flight, so I wanted to reward it with some luxurious cotton. This Missoni dress from Marshalls was the perfect match – yes, I scored a Missoni dress from Marshalls – drop everything you are doing and go now! The geometric design and the cut of this dress equaled perfection – I can’t wait to wear it in the summer months too! The temperatures in London were lovely and required no tights, so I minded the gap with these amazing, and my fall go-to, OTK boots from Zara. I topped the look off with a moto jacket and a wool hat, that was all for show – London may have been mild, but it was windy!
