Twining

Co-Ords

Today I’m happy for several reasons – 1) we are one day closer to the weekend, 2) I’m heading to Cape Cod today for the weekend, and 3) today we are chatting co-ords (also known as coordinates, separates or twin-sets). I’ve collaborated with Ark Clothing, a UK based brand, to show you three amazing co-ords from their collection, and how to style them for fall. Yesterday we chatted transitional pieces (here), so this is the perfect segway on how to take a summer co-ord into fall.
It’s as simple as adding accessories to the look that can carry it over to fall. Black and white are coveted colors this fall – add a print and you have this amazing Hearts and Bows Geo Print Co-Ord. Pairing the look with a leather jacket, some open toe booties and bold accessories seemed like the right thing to do. If this doesn’t get you excited for fall, I don’t know what will.
Sometimes we tend to dress towards the weather, and when the weather shifts from happy summer days, to cold gloomy fall days, our color palette follows. Well, this is why I LOVE this second Ark Charisma Co-Ord. The persimmon brush strokes add such a pop of color to the overall look. I toned the color down with a camel cardigan and matching booties. To bring the color full circle, I paired it with an orange crossbody bag. This is the perfect weekend look – great for watching football, great for apple picking, great for just about anything!
The final look is a little on the hipster side, but I like it! I love a good hipster look every now and then! This Keziah Print Co-Ord is creating a need for me to attend a musical festival stat! The felt hat is a great addition and the perfect fall accessory. It’s time to finally dust off those faux fur, and fur, vest that have been hibernating in your closets since Spring. This ombre vest had me at hello, and it was history from there. This added element that takes this look from summer to fall instantly. To top it all off, I paired it with an amazing fringe leather clutch. This accessory has the added sass that this look needs to top it off.
Happy CO-ORDinating 🙂
