Fashion + Sport Can Be Lovers

It’s no secret that my love for sports and fashion is strong. I mean, I call myself the Sportsanista for crying out loud! When the two worlds collide, other than on my blog, it makes me all sorts of warm and fuzzy inside – like my baby is all grown up and is going to college. When you think about Fall, what comes to mind? Football right? Or is that just me? 🙂 Sporty looks and accessories took over the runways in New York and London during their respective fashion weeks for Fall/Winter collection previews. We saw leather and ball caps from DKNY, sequin jersey dresses from Tom Ford and so many more! I was overzealous with my “likes” this fashion week season.

In my interview with Phillip Bloch (see here), that took place a couple of months ago, we talked about incorporating the trends of today into your game-day wear. Now, the game-day wear is what’s trending. Life made easy really.

Sporty fashion is just as accessible as its always been. Brands like Jcrew, ASOS, Forever 21 and Nine West are following the yellow brick road to the arena. Check out some of my favorite pieces, currently available, so far. Enjoy!!
