Green + Sparkles

Two weeks ago I traveled to London for work around the NFL International Series game at Wembley Stadium. Chicago is home, but London is my kind of town. The people, the pace, (not the food) and the fashion! Going to the office in London means one thing….you dress smart. So “smart” is the more formal end of business casual. I respected the dress code, within reason for myself. Any color other than black in London is typically perceived as “loud” or “over the top.” Well I’m not American if I’m not loud or over the top now am I…or myself 🙂

On this particular day, I was running around for site visits and meetings, so comfort and mobility were key. I paired my favorite black skinny pants from H&M with this emerald diamond pattern blazer from Zara. For some good ole American Jazz I wore this sequin 3/4 sleeve top from Jcrew. On my feet I have these AMAZING nude studded kitten heels from Sole Society. Big statement here – they are the most comfortable heel I own. Fact. End of story. 

This look is enough “loud” for me and enough “loud” for London.
