NHL Playoff Fashion: Before and After

Well, well, well! If it isn’t Friday again!

This week the ladies of Sports Divas, Inc were tasked with the job of providing inspiration to all female Chicago Blackhawks fans, on what to wear during the playoff season. Since we can’t grow playoff beards, or at least not well, we show our playoff spirit with fashion! Thanks to FOX Good Day in Chicgo for opening your doors to the team! We had a blast!

Before look (photo above): The ever ill fitting jersey. Why is it ill fitting? Because the ones made for females are generally pink, and look like they have been attacked by some three year-old carrying a bedazzler. True story. Sometimes its hard to make a jersey look spectacular when the shape is boxy and baggy. As women know….we don’t need any extra curves. 

Finally, let’s celebrate that it’s semi-warm weather in Chicago with incorporating the trends from Spring/Summer in with a Blackhawks gameday look…we now shall transition to my “after-look”…

After look (photos below): Thanks to Chicago Sports Divas and Clark Street Sports, I was able to take this retro logo grey tee and make it the focal point of my Spring look! There is no crying in hockey and there is no rule that says you can’t wear a pink lace skirt with a Blackhawks tee. The trends from this Spring are bright, vibrant and neon-y. Pair a bright skirt, bright color or patterned skinny belt with your Blackhawks tee. Jazz it up with some accessories and pumps, and BAM….you have a look great for work, drinks, game watch or my fav, brunch!
