Button Up Buttercup by Megan Riggs

As I
awoke from my winter hibernation, I was dazed and confused about many things,
including and not limited to: where my muscles went, why Mother Nature thinks
-15 is a temperature, and why there are so many button-ups in my closet.
The answers: no cardio since November, she is a sick and twisted, and they are
my new obsesch.
You can
wear them with a pencil skirt, cigi pant, leggings and boots, under a sweater
or puffer vest (chalk that up on the list of things I never thought I would
own), the possibilities are endless!  Pairing a pattern top, my favs are
my Banana Republic plaid or Gap cats – yes, cats (meow), under a solid sweater
is a great way to add some fun to an outfit.  If it were actually Spring
here at the top of the Rockies, you better believe I would be pairing one with
my favorite J.Crew colored chinos and the natural shoe choice, gold Sperry’s.

My
newest favorite child is this “light” chambray from Old Navy.
It’s pretty much white, but sometimes I like to channel my inner DJ
Tanner and pretend it’s acid washed.  This shirt pairs perfectly with my
other thriving obsession, colored denim.  I’m particularly fond of it with
my shamrock green pair.  Throw on a statement necklace and you are ready
to take on the day.

Please
pardon the floor as a backdrop.  This Sportsanista is short on space, but
not on style.  And yes, that’s hardwood.
