A Side of Sequins with my Flannel

Hola Sportsanistas! Friday came early this week!So on tap for this week….holiday parties. The plus side to holiday parties? The festive cheer, the nostalgia and egg nog. The down side? What do you wear?! So many parties, so little time to shop (for yourself) and no one wants a yellow flag for for a repeat offender. I’m all about combining trends, fabrics and textiles. Gluttony is good every once in a while 🙂

I don’t think it’s any secret that I’m a lover of flannels, for me and a man. I like a side of lumberjack with my sequins, don’t you? For your next holiday party, try pairing a holiday tartan flannel along with a sequin miniskirt. Pair it with some black opaque tights (textured and patterned would be a wee bit much on this look) and top it off with some wedge booties!
