What the Sportsanista Wore: A Peplum Two Ways

Happy Monday ya’ll! The weekend came…and went very quickly, but the best part is I still have Friday’s “Berry” theme on my mind! On one of my recent “research trips”, I popped into H&M and found this amazing peplum top! It was folded on a table that was completely covered by a number of other things…..BAD placement if you ask me!…..That’s the marketer in me talking 🙂 The fit is perfect, the fabric is forgiving and the color is on trend…..the trifecta if you ask me!

Check out how I paired this peplum top two ways…..this top is like my punter/kicker if you will; in the time of need you can substitute for the other…..and in my opinion the best gig in football! The first look is versatile for both work and night; it has ease and comfort. What I like best about this look, is that it breaks away from the boring work trouser and gives your work look some flare! For a more edgy look at night, pair the top with a leather pant and shoes with detailing to kill! I love a love affair with my buckle detailed boots below, therefore I am having a love affair with Marc Jacobs…..something tells me I’m not the only one 🙂
