Hello Sunshine! by Megan Riggs

Sweet, sweet summertime.
Three blissful months of beer, baseball, sweltering commutes, and
deciphering the giant gray zone that is the office summer dress code.  Let’s clear up one thing right now, Memorial Day is not the national kick off for sleeveless polos and khaki
shorts.  In fact, unless you
are 65, and golfing with the gals in Sun City, this is never acceptable.
There is never a more important time for easy dressing than in
summer, however this is not an excuse to dress like you are heading for the
ballpark.  In my world, there is
nothing better than a great dress.
This sleeveless dress from H&M is a great find.  The length and v-neck are work
appropriate and the color is oh so summery!  Pair it with your favorite tights and boots, and you have a
entirely new look for a whole different season.  Did we just take this dress into fall?  I think we did.

Work wardrobe staples take on a whole new look in
summertime.  We say goodbye to
those long sleeves and hello to pretty, airy, colorful tops.  Pair this lovely aqua Zara top with
your favorite navy or black pencil skirt, and you will be a blazer away from
board room chic when the bossman/lady calls.  Pair this top with your favorite dark skinnies and wedges
for happy hour, it happened again.
Double play.

Don’t forget to add a splash of summertime to your
accessories.  These darling starfish earrings by my good friend, Lauren Conrad, or LC as I like to call
her, are perfection.  They can be
yours for just $11.  Spoil me.

Remember Sportsanistas, keep it colorful, keep it classy.
